Oliver Radosav, the founder of the PADI diving school “No Fear Diving”, dealt with this question during his career as a PADI diving instructor.

Afraid of the underwater world?

Oliver examined and analyzed this question from the perspective of an occupational therapist and scuba diving instructor.
As the essence of his many years of experience, he developed a special coaching for professional divers and beginners with physical and / or mental impairments.

His diving school was opened in 2014 in Amed / Bali, a little fishing village in Indonesia. There, Oliver and his team exclusively teach this unique concept: NoFearDiving. The courses are now certified by PADI.

Location:
Amed with its location in the middle of the best diving spots in Bali appears to be perfect for both novice and advanced divers to learn & enjoy scuba diving.

Dozens of dive sites stretch along the coastline, which runs approximately 14 km to the east from the village of Amed and includes several villages such as Jemeluk, Bunutan, Lipah and Gili Selang.

The Difference:
Oliver the head of the diving school offers individual and tailor-made coaching lessons for clients with deep trauma and fears. Here, the causes of the fears are analyzed in discussions with the client. „We then gradually adapt the exercises of the diving course from an occupational therapy point of view to the needs and possibilities of the client,“ says Oliver.

The spectrum of people who visit Oliver & his team in Amed Bali is broad: that is why the diving school offers various so-called „settings“ for its customers: from group courses, where the focus is on having fun learning together, to private courses in which the needs and possibilities of the diver are dealt with one-to-one individually and in a step-by-step manner.

New in 2022:
… Bali will be the next Save.Nemo diving missions. Here we will specifically protect the underwater world around Bali, reforest new corals, set moorings and train divers.

This concept is what makes “No Fear Diving ” outstanding among the many diving schools around the world. There are many diving schools that cater to the physical needs of clients with disabilities. However, there are only a handful of scuba diving schools in the world that focus on the psychosocial & mental aspects of people. The No Fear Diving school in Amed Bali is one of them, ”says Oliver.
